Since then this race has become the Kenny Irwin Jr. Memorial Winternationals. The program also featured FASCAR Mini-Stocks, Super Stocks, Dwarf Cars (Mod Lites), Legends Cars, and on the final three nights, the Classic Auto Racing Series cars. From the Irwin Family:
"Our first memorial Golf Outing was an incredible success raising over $17,000 to help support the Dare to
Dream Camp. All of the TV stations in Indy covered the event, and a wonderful article was written in the
Indianapolis Star & News. Winston Cup Drivers Tony Stewart and Jerry Nadeau were signing autographs and
posing for pictures with the golfers. We are very thankful to them and to the other NASCAR drivers for their generous
donations and the racing memorabilia they sent for the silent auction."
"We also want to thank Mr. Bob Bahre, of the New Hampshire Speedway for his very generous donation to the Foundation. He also donated 3 sets of Brickyard 400 SUITE tickets that we auctioned off at the outing and on eBay."
"We would like to thank everyone who participated, to all the companies and individuals who sponsored a hole or made a donation, as well as all the volunteers that gave their time!!! We look forward to seeing all of them at next year's outing!!!"
