The First Kenny Irwin Jr. Memorial Golf Outing a Huge Success!
The first Kenny Irwin Jr. Memorial Golf Outing to benefit the Kenny Irwin Jr. Memorial Foundation was held at the Brickyard Crossing Gold Course at 4400 W. 16th Street on Wednesday, July 31, 2002.

From the Irwin Family:
"We had a very successful Golf Outing, considering it was our first one!! We raised over $17,000 for the Foundation to help support the 'Dare to Dream' Camp. All of the TV stations in Indy covered the event, as well as a nice article written in the Indianapolis Star & News. Winston Cup Drivers Tony Stewart and Jerry Nadeau were in attendance to sign autographs and to pose for pictures with the golfers. We are very thankful to them and to the other NASCAR drivers for their generous donations and racing memorabilia they sent for the silent auction."

"We also want to thank Mr. Bob Bahre, of the New Hampshire Speedway, for not only making a very generous donation to the Foundation, but he also donated 3 sets of Brickyard 400 SUITE tickets we auctioned off on e-bay and at the outing."

"We would like to thank everyone who participated in the outing, to all the companies and individuals who sponsored a hole or made a donation, as well as all the volunteers that gave their time!!! We look forward to seeing all of them at next year's outing!!!"

Please read the following story about the Kenny Irwin Jr. Memorial Foundation's Dare-To-Dream Camp.
